The Basic parts of desktop computer are the computer case,monitor,keyboard,mouse,and power cord.Each pars plays an important role whenever you use a computer.
- Computer case.
The computer case is the mental and plastic box that contains the main components f the computer,including the motherboard,central processing unit(CPU),and power supply.The front of the case usually has an On/Off button.
2. Monitor
A computer monitor is an output device that displays information in pictorial or text form

A keyboard is one of the primary input device used with a computer.A keyboard is composed of buttons used to create letters,numbers,and symbols,and perform additional functions.
There is two types of keyboard QWERTY and DVORAK
4.Mouse
A computer mouse is input device that controls a cursor in a GUI(graphical use interface) and can move and select text,icons,files,and folders on your computer.
Commonly known as a point to objects on the screen,click on them,and move them.
5.UPS
An uninterruptible power supply(UPS),also known as battery backup,provide backup power when your regular power source fails or voltage drops to an unacceptable level.

A computer is an electronic machine. we need to start it and shut it down properly, otherwise,it may give problems later.let use how to do it.
We should follow these steps carefully of starting the computer.
-step 1 Insert the UPS plug into the socket and turn on the main power supply.
-step 2 Turn on UPS.
-step 3 .Switch ON the system unit/CPU
-step 5.After a few seconds of that,you will see main page(desktop).The main page will look like this after the computer is switched ON.
_NOTE:If computer configured with username and password,before main page, it will ask you to provide user name and password, then disk ''Enter'' and your computer is now ready to use.
-Press the Windows key on the keyboard,or click start.The start menu opens.
-In the start menu, click Power,then click Shut down
or
-Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and click the power button in the button in the botton-right corner of the screen
or
-From the Windows desktop,press Alt+F4 to get the shut down window screen show here.
POWER OPTIONS
=When your click power from your start menu,window shows some options for shutting down your computer.
-Sleep(formerly stand by)
-Hibernate
-Shut down
-Restart

The PC stays on but inactive and use slow power.App stay open so when the PC wakes up you are instantly back to where you left off.
Hibernate
Hibernate turn off the PC but app open. when the PC is turned on you are back to where you left off.Power consumption is much lower compare to sleep mode.
